SAUCE UP YOUR FUZZ TONE

The Sauce™ reimagines the classic muff-style fuzz tone with a modern-voiced character. The fuzz's thick saturation borders on distortion, with a focused midrange response. A two-band EQ, along with the LIFT switch (the not-so-secret sauce), allows you to craft the perfect fuzz distortion sound.

VERSION 2 UPDATES

• The three tone enhancer switches were removed, and in their place, separate bass and treble controls were added. The former MIDS BOOST switch became unnecessary because the added 2-band EQ voicing focused the midrange frequency response. You can achieve the previous TIGHTEN switch sound by turning the bass control all the way down (to the left). This leaves the BRIGHTEN switch, which is no longer necessary with an independent treble control. The LIFT switch also affects brightness.

• A LIFT switch has been added that changes the gain characteristic to a more open, less compressed sound, which has a slightly brighter tone overall. The LIFT switch significantly increases volume when engaged.

• The volume knob has a more even taper, with unity gain roughly at noon, as opposed to V1, where unity was at 9 o'clock.
