The Royal Tea™ is a medium-gain overdrive with a warm, open, and amp-like response. With two modes, it covers the territory of a smooth drive that preserves the character of your guitar and amp, as well as a harder-edged drive reminiscent of distortion that doesn’t lose definition.
 
VERSION 2 UPDATES
• The drive structure has been given an overhaul. The device now has a wider range of drive while still retaining its open, amp-like response.
 
• Tonally, the midrange has more clarity, and the low end is fuller.
 
• Boost mode has been removed, leaving soft and hard clipping modes. The boost mode from the previous version was developed into its own device.
 
• The volume knob has a more even taper, with unity gain roughly at noon, as opposed to V1, where unity was at 3 o'clock or higher.
